Have you been through something major? Divorce. Bereavement. Illness. Redundancy. Empty nesting. Or maybe you've just reached that point where you're asking: is this really it?
You know you want something more. More aliveness. More freedom. Maybe a big adventure. A life that actually feels like yours.
You’ve done what capable, determined women do. You set the goals. You created the vision board. You read the books, listened to the podcasts, repeated the affirmations. You got braver. You faked it till you made it. Maybe you retrained. Maybe you moved house, lost weight, started the business.
And yet the life you pictured still feels out of reach.
If that sounds familiar, join me for The Shift, a free live masterclass on Thursday 24th September at 7pm UK time, where we’ll be discovering what's really standing in the way of your next chapter.

Here's what I've noticed.
The women who come to me have done everything right. They look like they're thriving. Everyone tells them how well they're doing.
But late at night, when no one's watching, they're lying awake wondering why nothing's actually shifted. Why the excitement they felt at the beginning has worn off. Why the life they were supposed to be building still feels like someone else's.
They're starting to suspect that trying harder isn't the answer.
They just don't know what is.
Because here's what no one tells you.
The goal-setting, the affirmations, the relentless positivity, the fake-it-till-you-make-it approach, these aren't just failing to work.
They're often the very thing keeping you stuck.
Not because you're doing them wrong. Because they're designed to keep you moving forward without ever stopping to feel what you've been running from.
The grief. The rage. The fear. The realisation that somewhere along the way, you lost sight of who you actually are underneath all the roles you've been playing.
So you chase the next goal. You stay busy. You keep yourself together during the day, maybe drink a bit more at night just to turn off the relentless chatter in your head.
And the gap between the life you're living and the life you actually want gets wider.
What you'll discover in The Shift:
- The invisible resistance sitting between you and the life you want, and why it has nothing to do with confidence, clarity, or trying harder.
- Why the thing you most pride yourself on might be the very thing keeping you stuck, the identity you've perfected, the role everyone celebrates you for, and the parts of yourself you had to exile to become that person.
- The real reason goal-setting and positive thinking stop working, and what needs to happen instead if you actually want to feel whole, alive, and free.
- How to stop running from the uncomfortable emotions, and why welcoming them in is the beginning of everything you've been trying to create.
- The shift that finally makes it your turn, not because you've chased another surface-level fix, but because you've reclaimed the parts of yourself you've been too afraid or too ashamed to own.
This isn't another masterclass telling you to set better goals or think more positively.
You've already tried that. It helped, for a while. Then it stopped working.
This is about understanding what's really standing in the way. The part you can't see. The resistance that lives underneath the surface, quietly running the show while you're busy doing all the right things.
Because once you see it, everything changes.
The endless striving stops feeling necessary.
The exhaustion lifts.
And the life you've been working toward finally starts to feel like something you're allowed to actually live.
I'm Annabel Lane.
Eight years ago, my marriage ended after a 26-year relationship. I was devastated. After six months of tears, I decided enough. I was determined not to be one of those women whose life never quite recovers after something major happens in midlife.
So I got busy. I lost weight, got fit, retrained as a yoga teacher, started a business, moved house. To the outside world, I looked like I was thriving. Everyone told me how marvellous I was. My bruised ego absolutely loved it.
But underneath, I was lying awake at night, exhausted from holding myself together during the day, keeping myself busy doing anything I could to avoid feeling the void, the ache, the pain.
I knew I needed to create a shift on a deeper level. And after lots of false starts, I found the missing piece.
It was the opposite of what I believed was the answer.
That's what I'll be showing you in The Shift. Not another strategy. Not another goal. The thing underneath all of it that finally makes the rest of your life feel like it gets to be yours.

You've been holding it together for long enough.
You've done all the right things, stayed positive, kept moving forward.
You're seeing people less capable than yourself actually living the lives they want.
And you've got that annoying feeling that if nothing changes, you'll be in exactly the same place next year.
You know it’s time for something to change.
Join me on September 24th for The Shift. I'll show you what's really standing in the way, and how it finally gets to be your turn.
